Homes for people with disabilities

• Our homes for people with disabilities offer ground floor accommodation with easy access to thoughtfully designed surroundings including patios and gardens and are in close proximity to local amenities.
• Newlands is the larger of the two facilities and offers residential, nursing and respite care to twenty-six people with complex multiple needs.
• Mill Green is a much smaller Home providing specialist residential care for fifteen people with additional support accessed from District Nurses.
• Both Homes offer a comprehensive range of specialist equipment and aids to enhance and maximise physical comfort and independence.
• The bedrooms are spacious, comfortable rooms that can be decorated and furnished to personal choice, some with en-suite facilities.
• Opportunities are available for access to a number of personal development activities including education and training.
• The staff are dedicated, highly trained and motivated and provide 24 hour care. At Newlands this is enhanced by a small team of qualified nurses.
