Job Opportunities
Warwickshire Care Services was established in 1992 and has now become the largest independent care company in Warwickshire.
As an established and well respected organisation we are able to offer our staff competitive conditions of service, opportunities for career development and a secure future.
Our staff both female (predominantly) and male, vary in age from 18 to in their seventies. They also come from all walks of life and have a wealth of experience of life and are like the Directors, united in their wish to care for vulnerable people and to improve quality of life and that of their relatives and carers.
All staff are carefully inducted into their role, are trained and supervised from the start. No one is ever asked to undertake a task before they feel able to accomplish it.
The company regards them all as ambassadors who share the same aims and objectives in creating an atmosphere as close to home as possible.
All Home Managers, indeed all staff are subject to Criminal Record Bureau checks and full employment history and written references are required.
Home Managers are individuals and rather like the Captain of a ship or a Sister on a ward they provide for the care of both service users and staff in order to achieve the ethos of the company.
This ethos is based on a person centered approach to everyone who either receives a service from us or who works for us.
This means that we:
- listen to and learn about what people want from their lives and work;
- help people to think about what they want now and in the future;
- involve family, friends, professionals and services working together with the person to make this happen;
- make a commitment to keep on learning about the people who live and work with us.
