The Executive Management Team (EMT)
The people in this team are: -
- Hazel Wren Chief Executive
- Nick Wood Director of Finance and Company Secretary
- Ed Russel and Nicola Downes Senior Managers
What do the Executive Management Team do?
Their main role is to make sure that the Policies, Business Plan and Budgets, that have been agreed by the Directors, are put in place.
They attend all the Board Meetings and have to give reports on all areas of the business, which are then discussed and approved by the Directors.
In January each year, the Chief Executive and the Director of Finance prepare a new Business Plan for the following 5 years, and then prepare a budget for the next financial year (which is from April to March).
The day to day running of the whole company is delegated to the Chief Executive by the Board of Directors.
The Director of Finance / Company Secretary maintains the financial operations of the company and ensures compliance with the legal framework under which the company operates.
The EMG meet six times a year to discuss financial and operating performance in all areas of the Company, as well as anything else which may affect the business.
The Corporate Management Team, which meets every 3 months, brings together the EMT, Home's Managers, the Property and Contracts Manager. At these meetings issues are discussed and it provides an opportunity for Managers to influence policy making and Business Development.
Notes and Headlines are made for both the Executive and Corporate Management Team meetings. These are available for all staff to read and will help you to understand a little more about the Company.
